Yes, That's Right. Everything. One Place.

Some may think that email marketing is no longer effective in the age of social media and instant customer engagements. I beg to differ as email marketing campaigns still have a place in this era. I agree, the last thing I need is another email piling up in my inbox. However, the companies that do it right reap the rewards. For example, I wouldn’t say that I am a huge clothing shopper, but J Crew’s emails get me every time.

From their clever subject lines to get the viewer to actually open the email to their creative content leading to a click to the website and eventually a product purchase.

How can your business produce a successful marketing campaign that leads to a positive return on investment?

  1. Know your target audience. In order to create emails that do not automatically get deleted is to know what grabs their attention. How is it relevant to the viewer? What’s in it for them?

  1. Once the email is opened, the information must be relevant and further answer the question, “What’s in it for them?” What is going to motivate them to click further leading them to the website to make the purchase? There must be some sort of call to action within a set timeframe.

  1. Finally, do not inundate your email recipients with tireless and continuous emails. Determine what is acceptable to your target audience. On the other side of the coin, too few emails is not ideal either as customers will forget about your business and product or service.
