Branding is more than having a logo designed. Every thought, every action, every policy, every ad, every marketing promotion has the effect of either inspiring or deterring brand loyalty in whomever is exposed to it. Even the way a client is treated when they enter your establishment is part of your brand.
Do you normally greet your customers with a fresh, steaming cup of coffee? Is your office waiting area comfortable and warm and inviting, or cold and unfriendly? All of this is part of your brand and it does affect sales.
Remember, there is a difference between marketing and branding. Marketing sells a product, branding builds loyalty. You can sell a product with a marketing campaign, but a good branding strategy will turn that buyer into a life long customer.
